About me (English)

Georgina Mabel Nieto Tornini was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, on July 17, 1984. She began dancing at 4 and had training on classic and modern dance.

EDUCATION AND PROFESSIONAL
TRAINING ARTISTIC EDUCATION

CLASSICAL TECHNIC
1988 – 1993 Teacher and dancer Josefina Serrano
1993 –1996 Teacher and dancer Verónica Idígoras. She was a member of the ballet of Mrs. Idígoras until 1996. She took part in the IV MERCOSUR Dance Festival “Bento em Danca”
1998 – 2000 National Dance School. She took part several times in “Concurso Latinoamericano de la Danza” (Latin American Dance Contest)
2000 – 2001 She was granted by C.I.E.E.D.A. half a scholarship to follow advanced courses with the teacher and dancer Teresita Campana
2001 Advanced courses with the teachers and dancers Silvia Basilis and Ricardo Rivas.
2004 Ricardo Rivas, Nadia Freedom, Menena Astrova.
2005-2006 Pablo Desse (former dancer of the Theater Colón of Buenos Aires Argentina)

PROFESSIONAL TRAINING
2001 – 2003 She finished three-year-courses (December 2003) in the "Escuela de Danza Contemporánea del Teatro General San Martín" (Modern Dance School of the General San Martín Theatre). She finished advanced courses on:
• Classical Technique with following teachers and dancers: Mario Galizzi, Andrea Bengochea, Norma Binagui, Haichi Akamine and Claudio Longo
• Graham Technique with following teachers and dancers: Freddy Romero and Alejandra Libertella
• Cunningham Technique: with teacher and dancer Marina Giancaspro
• Mixed Techniques with following teachers and dancers: Miguel Robles, Dalilah Spritz and Andrea Chinetti
• Contemporary repertoire with teacher and dancer Miguel Elías

JAZZ TECHNIC
1997 –1998 She followed courses with the teacher and dancer Margarita Fernández in the Dance Studio of the teachers and dancers Noemí Coelho and Rodolfo Olguín. She took part in the program: "Alta Comedia" (High Comedy) recorded in the mentioned Studio of Mrs., Noemí Coelho and Mr. Rodolfo Olguín

ADVANCED COURSES
2000 Summer course in the American Ballet in New York City.
2000 Advanced techniques courses followed in Studio Arte XXI in charge of the teachers and dancers Alicia Cuadri and Guido de Benedetti
2001 course followed in "Centro de Elongación Valentinov" (Valentinov Elongation Center) with following teachers and dancers: Jonathan Roisman and David Cohen
2001 Advanced technique courses followed in the dance studio "Arte y Cultura" (Art and Culture) with the teacher and dancer Ricardo Rivas

EXPERIENCE
1999 Record at Argentina Televisora Color (ATC: Argentinean Color TV ) of ballet Nutcracker, playing the role of Clara, directed by Mr. Roberto Dimitrievich
2002 Participation as dancer in the opera Mahagonny in the Teatro Colón (Colón Theatre) of Buenos Aires city, directed by Mr. Regie Jérome Savary, choreography by Mrs. Diana Teocharidis
2004- I belong at Mrs. Maria Eugenia Guidice’s company under the name of “Megadanza Independiente”.
2005-2006- I currently participating of the Neoclassic Ballet of Buenos Aires, directed by the ex dancer of the Colon Theatre Guido de Benedetti. Participating in shows all year through with performance “Romeo and Juliet”, “Moliere, the Theatre Passion, “Freek suite and Tanghoy”, taking tours around Atlantic coasts on summer of 2006.
2005-2006- I am an integrant of Griego’s Dermitzakis Ballet, directed by Jorge Dermitzakis.Tours around the country provinces and Uruguay, performing “Zorba the Greek”, “Helen of Troya”(being Helen’s character) and “Tangojasapico”.

PRESENT MOMENT
Classic Dance: courses in charge of following teachers and dancers: Ricardo Rivas and Nadia Freedom
Contemporary Dance: Courses in charge of teacher and dancer María Eugenia Giudice. At the present moment she is a member of the dance company of Mrs. María Eugenia Giudice denominated “Megadanza Independiente” (Independent Megadance)
August and September 2006, I participated at the Fates de Nuit “Les noces de l’infant roi” scenes. The show was performed at the Neptuno del Chateau de Versailles fountains (France), directed by Alfredo ARIAS and the choreography by Mrs. Ana Maria STEKELMAN. Inspired by Luis XV wedding and the spanish infanta, a fairytale, dancing baroque and contemporary, with original music of Rita Mitsuoko.
